Boarding and Facilities

"CEC provides quality personalized care for your horse, in a modern well-equipped facility with on-site staff and a live-in Barn Manager. The facility includes 2 arenas, a cross-country field, and beautiful trails. We have multiple tumout opportunities and can offer full-day turnout for groups and a minumum of 1/2 day turnout for individuals. We offer range of opportunities for owners and boarders, including lessons and training, the opportunity to compete, to trail ride on the beautiful trails, and to be a member of a community. Facilities

 

Our excellent facilities include: 

  • an 70 x 170 indoor with dust-free LiteStride footing, 

  • a fenced 75 x 200 outdoor sand arena (arenas are set up with dressage letters, and have ground poles, cavalletti and jump equipment)

  • a cross-country course and 

  • miles of trails on the property

Boarding

 

CEC prides itself on providing a safe, relaxed, professionally-managed environment for you and your horse. Each horse receives individual care and attention.

​

Capacity: 27 stalls for full board and space for an additional 4 – 8 horses on rough board. Main barn: 14 stalls, a heated tack room and a wash stall. Additional 8-stall barn; 3 stall-barn and 2 stall-barn.

 

Turn-out: We have a number of turn-out paddocks of varying sizes for both group and individual turn-out, including extensive grass paddocks for group turn-out from April to October. In addition, 16 of the stalls have small turn-out areas attached. Horses that can be turned out in groups are guaranteed full-day turn-out. Horses that need to be on their own have a minimum half-day turnout.

We Provide:

  • Expert care; including, but not limited to: 

  • All feed: consisting of 2 (or more if needed) grain meals per day;

  • Plentiful high-quality hay; 

  • The addition of supplements to feed, as required;

  • The administration of medications as prescribed;

  • Medical care and attention;

  • Deworming program;

  • On-site staff; live-in Barn Manager;

  • Careful dedicated observation and monitoring to ensure the horse's comfort, welfare and safety:;

  • Daily wellness checks; 

  • Night check;

  • Blanketing, as required;

  • Access for owner and horse to exercise areas, trails and other facilities on the premises.

CEC Charges:​

  • FULL BOARD: 

    • Stall in the 3 stall barn (includes storage space in the main barn hay loft): $950 pm

    • Stall in the 8 stall barn (includes oversized locker): $950

    • Inner stall in the main barn attached to the indoor (includes a locker in the temperature-controlled main tack room): $950 pm;

    • Stall with attached runout in the main barn (includes a locker in the temperature-controlled main tack room): $1050 pm.

  • OPTIONS:​

    • locker in the main tackroom if available: $75 per month

    • Individual turn-out: $75 per month

    • Trailer on property: $50 per month

  • FREE SERVICES:​

    • All feed and hay

    • Daily wellness check

    • Putting on fly masks and applying fly spray

    • Routine rotational de-worming

    • Heated water buckets in winter

    • Blanketing (including rainsheets). Decisions regarding blankets are made by the barn manager. Waterproof blankets and sheets only.
