Dan Bergin

Daniel Bergin’s love for horses began at a young age. Dan started taking riding lessons at the age of 7 and has ridden and worked with horses ever since. Dan competed on the local hunter/jumper circuit as a youth and adolescent. Dan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and has a masters degree in Clinical Social Work. For the past 4 years Dan has focused his riding ambitions on Eventing and has successfully competed through novice level with his draft cross gelding Gustav. More recently Dan and Gustav have shifted their focus to the dressage ring. Dan enjoys teaching riders of all ages and and levels. His teaching style is best described as supportive with an emphasis on pushing his students to access their full potential.
